John Wells, Kelly Pearson charged with internet child luring

Surrey RCMP have charged two Delta men in a child luring investigation and are appealing for other victims and witnesses to come forward.

24-year-old John Wells has been charged with five counts of luring a child and one count of invitation to sexual touching.

Kelly Pearson, 24, has been charged with three counts of invitation to sexual touching, one count of sexual interference, and one count of possession of child pornography.

Police say it's believed the offences occurred over the internet and at a field in Surrey where the two played regularly in a paintball league.

The two accused were arrested August 13 and have been released on condition they do not access the internet, contact their victims or contact anyone under the age of 16.

Surrey RCMP are asking for public help to identify other victims or witnesses.

Anyone with more information is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP Special Victims Unit at 604-599-0502.
