Way to stand out from the crowd, Taylor Swift!

The "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer strutted her stuff on the 2014 MTV VMAs red carpet on Sunday night looking especially different from the rest of the celebs thanks to her outfit: a blue jumpsuit!

Yep, Tay ditched her dresses for the cute Mary Katrantzou number, which featured a bunch of letters (we don't know if they spell out anything. Perhaps it's a secret code) in yellow and black.

To highlight her long, lean legs, the 24-year-old sported burgundy peep-toe Elie Saab shoes.

We love it when Taylor takes a chance on the red carpet!
