We were all crossing our fingers before the 66th Emmy Awards -- please let funnyman Seth Meyers actually be funny!
There were flashbacks to the unfortunate Oscar hosting by Anne Hathaway and James Franco, and who can forget David Letterman's epic crash and burn?
Thankfully Meyers delivered the goods; while he didn't necessarily knock it out of the park, he brought the chuckles by being self-deprecating about the evolving TV industry. If you can't poke fun at yourself, you're not really funny, right?
