Everyone should just stop trying now because Laverne Cox hit up the 2014 Emmys red carpet.

After slaying the 2014 MTV VMAs carpet on Sunday night, the "Orange is the New Black" star was back and better than ever on Monday (we could hardly believe it either).

Wearing a long flowing white gown (designed by Marc Bouwer) with an attached cape and a dangerously low v-neck that revealed her ample chest, Cox took ethereal to the next level, and we're so glad she did.

The actress wore her honey-coloured tresses up in a silky smooth layered look and sported a smoky eye with a natural lip.

Gorgeous!
