Celine Dion's legions of fans say thanks; not to the chanteuse who has touched their hearts for decades, but to husband René Angélil, the man who helped make her an international superstar.
A nearly 11-minute video posted to YouTube on Sunday shows fans holding up signs of gratitude which are then passed to the side of the frame, creating a continuous message that travels from Canada to the United States, Europe, Asia and elsewhere.
The 72-year-old stepped down as Dion's manager in June after overseeing his wife's rise from a talented young singer to one of the biggest acts to play Las Vegas since Elvis.
Angélil is living with cancer, and the singer has cancelled all her remaining shows in Vegas in order to be with him.
A message on Dion's website thanked the people who created the video, saying, "Celine and René's fans are the best!"
