Let's just come out and say it: Mindy Kaling's Flare magazine cover is nothing short of spectacular.
The 35-year-old comedian/TV star/author/total boss is featured in the Canadian fashion mag's October 2014 issue with the bad-ass (and accurate) headline, "She's the boss."
Unlike some fashion magazines which typically hide the bodies of their "curvier" cover stars (ahem, Vogue), Mindy flaunts her gorgeous bod on the cover with a form-fitting coral-and-blue print frock with a v-neck and half-length sleeves. Paired with gold jewelry and a diamond ring that's Brangelina huge, the brunette beauty looks gorgeous and confident.
Unfortunately, the former "The Office" star doesn't always feel comfortable in her own skin when she's doing fashion photo shoots.
"If you love fashion and you’re not skinny and something fits you, most stylists are like, ‘That’s great for you,’ and it sucks," she told Flare. "I have my own taste and I want to try weird stuff and Hayley Atkin's not going to put me in a fuchsia shift just because it fits me and hides my quote-unquote problem areas."
There were definitely no problems with this stunning shoot! For the inside spread, Mindy sports a ton of #girlboss-inspired looks such as a yellow-and-black Prada stunner, a red lace Dolce & Gabbana mini dress and she even totes a green furry bag that resembles a Muppet. (And she looks fierce holding it, ok?)
