The Dyson Robot Vacuum Could Be A Cleaning Gamechanger

The Vacuum You May Love More Than Your Partner

It's the dream many of us have had ever since we first saw an episode of The Jetsons: a robot that cleans our home without us needing to do so much as make a dust pile for it.

Today, bagless vacuum masters Dyson announced the 360 Eye, a robot vacuum that promises more suction than other models on the market (or at least, the Japanese market, where the product was introduced).

While robot options like Roomba have been around for years (and are beloved by their owners), Dyson plans to change the cleaning game with continuous tracks instead of wheels (for different floor types) and a "brush bar" for as much cleaning as possible.

But that's not even the best part. The true innovation of this vacuum comes from its brilliant answer to the "Omg I forgot people was coming over tonight" problem. Thanks to a smartphone app, you can program the vacuum to start hitting up the rugs from the comfort of your office.

Check out the video above to find a few more of the 360 Eye's advantages — and just why they're calling it the "Eye."
