Vera Farmiga TIFF 2014: Actress Goes Pilgrim Chic On Red Carpet

Vera Farmiga stormed the TIFF 2014 red carpet at the festival's opening night premiere, "The Judge" on Thursday evening.

The actress, known for such films as "Up In The Air," "The Conjuring" and the TV show "Bates Motel" was in fine form wearing an outfit that could only be described as pilgrim chic.

Wearing a red carpet grazing Michael Kors gown with a high neck and billowing sleeves, the 41-year-old stunner (who counts "American Horror Story" star Taissa as her younger sis) modernized the old fashioned look with a waist-cinching belt and a chic short hairdo with braids.

Vera was joined on the carpet by "The Judge" co-stars, Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall.
