Canadian Men's Health Foundation Ads: Funny Or Sexist?

Are These Men's Health Ads Funny Or Sexist?

A new set of ads raising awareness for men's health are also raising some eyebrows.

The Canadian Men's Health Foundation has launched a campaign called Don't Change Much that is meant to inform men that healthier lives don't require a lot of big changes.

The ads show instructional diagrams of how to put together a barbecue, use a remote control, and build a desk, along with the tagline: "Get healthy. You've done waaaay harder things."

The images were posted to Reddit, and while many commenters applauded the campaign, others said that if the were ads about women's health with pictures of baking and sewing, everyone would be in an uproar.

The Vancouver-based foundation is partly funded by the B.C. government and lists the Canadian Medical Association as a partner.

So, what do you think: funny or sexist?
