Lenny Miller is a one of those supporters.

He helped start a fundraising campaign a week ago in an effort to keep the community centre open.

The WIJCC, which houses a fitness facility, youth drop-in centre and other recreational services, is set to close Oct. 31.

Only the daycare at the centre will remain open.
