Woman, 35, struck by vehicle on King Street West

A 35-year-old woman has been taken to a trauma centre with a head injury after she was struck by a vehicle in downtown Toronto, paramedics say.

Paramedics were called to the scene on King Street West, near Jameson Avenue, at 9 p.m.

Toronto police say that King Street West has been closed between Jameson Avenue and Dunn Avenue, as part of the collision investigation.

The TTC reports that streetcars on its 504 King route are diverting as a result of the collision.
