Homicide in Langley leads to arrest of 2 men

Two men have been arrested in connection with the sudden death of another man in the 27500 block of 32 Avenue in Langley after police were called there for a disturbance Wednesday.

Police say a man found there, unconscious, later died in hospital.

Two men who were at the scene were arrested and have now been charged on homicide-related charges according to police.

Integrated Homicide Investigation Team spokeswoman Staff Sgt. Jennifer Pound said the two men do not have criminal records and there is much work to be done on the case.

"The deceased male has yet to be identified and a motive has not been determined,” said Pound. "There is still a great deal of work required by our investigative team before we can piece the evidence together and obtain the many answers we require."

Pound says no further information will be made available until police are able to identify the victim and speak with family members and witnesses.
