Frost expected across southern Ontario

Temperatures are expected to drop overnight across southern Ontario, where a "widespread" frost advisory has been issued from Windsor to east of Ottawa.

Environment Canada says the mercury will drop to freezing or a few degrees below, staying only slightly higher in areas closest to the lakes.

Frost-sensitive trees and other plants should be covered, the weather agency said. Temperatures are expected to be slightly higher on Sunday night.
