Police seek men who beat teen into coma

Police are calling on the public's help finding six men who beat a teen boy into a coma in August. 

Police say the 17-year-old victim was exiting a cab on Aug. 3 at 1:30 a.m. on York Street, just south of Queen Street West, when he was approached by six men. They punched and kicked the boy and stomped on his head, before fleeing the scene. 

The suspects fled on foot, westbound on Richmond Street West and Queen Street West, towards University Avenue. Three of them got in a cab on University, last seen heading north. 

The victim suffered severe head trauma and went into a coma, police say. They have not said if the boy has since recovered. 

The suspects are described as five black men and one white man between 18 and 25. Police have released video of their movements following the attack:
