Kings' Jordan Nolan suspended for two games

Los Angeles Kings' forward Jordan Nolan has been handed a two-game suspension without pay by the National Hockey League, for a boarding infraction Friday against the Detroit Red Wings' Darren Helm, it was announced on Sunday.

The incident occurred at 3:53 of the third period in Detroit. Nolan was assessed a minor penalty on the play.

Nolan, considered a repeat offender under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, will forfeit $17,073.18, based on his average annual salary. The fine goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
