Janet Jackson made a low-key red carpet comeback at the Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience on Friday and damn, she looked good.
The rare appearance marks the first time the Queen of Pop has been spotted at a public event since attending amfAR's 20th Annual Cinema Against AIDS event in France back in May 2013.
For the Dubai event, the 48-year-old singer covered up in a black long-sleeve ensemble and a diamond necklace to add some much-needed sparkle.
The "All For You" singer, who has kept a low profile since marrying billionaire Wissam Al Mana in 2012, styled her hair into a sleek high ponytail and sported mocha lips and dramatic eye makeup.
Janet's makeup artist Preston Meneses gave us a close-up shot of the icon on his Instagram page, revealing a beautiful henna design on her fingers and her fierce gaze. "Such a wonderful time here in #Dubai with my sis 😀 painted by me #makeupartist #prestonmakeup #vogue #voguedubai #makeup #makeupforever #janetjackson," he captioned the pic.
Coincidentally, fellow pop goddess Beyonce dressed up as Janet during her Rhythm Nation days for Halloween. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Rhythm Nation 1814.
