Pippa Middleton May Be NBC's Next 'Today' Correspondent (VIDEO)

Pippa Middleton May Have Landed A New Job

On the heels of a "Today" show interview that drew massive ratings, the NBC program may be set to hire Pippa Middleton as a correspondent, sources told The New York Post's Page Six.

Middleton, the younger sister of Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, was interviewed by Matt Lauer in June, and now the network has her on a test assignment in Utah, the celebrity news site reports.

And though she clearly has an inside track on the Royal Family (she is, after all, a relative), it's more likely that she'd focus on areas such as health and lifestyle news.

An athlete herself, Middleton took part in the five-kilometre running portion of the GE Blenheim Triathlon in 2011, finishing in 25 minutes and 30 seconds, according to The Daily Mail.

In June, she and her brother James completed the Race Across America, a 3,000-mile bike trip in which people cycled across 12 states, Hello! magazine notes.

The Middletons' team finished in six days, 10 hours and 54 minutes, and raised money for the Michael Matthews Foundation and the British Heart Foundation.

So it's possible that Middleton has even more insight into healthy living as she does the Royals.
