2 hurt when de-icing vehicle rolls over at Pearson airport

A de-icing vehicle rolled over at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Sunday morning, leaving two people injured.

Scott Armstrong, a spokesperson for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, said the incident did not occur on the tarmac, but at the central de-icing station at Pearson at 7:45 a.m.

Two people were injured, one of whom was airlifted to St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto.

The Ministry of Labour is investigating.

Armstrong said the incident did not have any effect on flights.
