Lupita Nyong'o Brings The Drama To Glamour Magazine's Red Carpet

Major Drama On The Red Carpet

Bow down!

Not that we needed more proof that Lupita Nyong'o is a goddess but the Oscar Winner showed us yet again on Monday that she's worthy of some kind of red carpet trophy.

The "Star Wars: Episode VII-The Force Awakens" star attended the Glamour 2014 Women Of The Year event in New York City wearing a stunning white-and-gold embroidered Chanel Couture frock (with matching shorts!) that brought major drama to the glamourous event.

The 31-year-old actress was honoured with the Glamour Woman of the Year Award—she also appears on the cover of the magazine's Women of the Year issue—and made a thoughtful speech when she accepted her award.

"I am still a work in progress," she told the audience. "To be woman is to be human. And to be human is to seek perfection and to find joy in never obtaining it."

No wonder Lupita's the woman of the year!
