We love sushi a bit too much, apparently.

According to Japan's 89-year-old sushi master Jiro Ono, who once served Barack Obama what he reportedly called the best sushi of his life, we're running out of fish.

The popularity of sushi has sky-rocketed in recent years, leading fishermen to catch fish at unsustainable rates. The unsustainable sushi eating is particularly harming the bluefin tuna (commonly used for spicy tuna rolls) population, reports FoodBeast. The demand for the fish is so high that Asian countries have exhausted the Pacific Ocean and are now fishing in the Atlantic.
