Police arrest man in alleged North York sex assault

A Toronto man, who police say provides immigration consulting services, is accused of sexually assaulting a young woman.

On Sept. 20, a 23-year-old woman, who recently immigrated to Canada, visited the office of an immigration consultant at 1110 Finch Ave. W., unit 806, according to police.

Police allege that the woman was propositioned for sexual favours and sexually assaulted.

On Saturday, police arrested a 56-year-old man in connection with the alleged incident.

Razgar Hasan is charged with sexual assault and breach of trust.

He is expected to appear in court Dec. 18.

Police say there may be more alleged victims and the accused provides services to those who originate from Middle Eastern countries seeking assistance on immigration matters.
