Tamo Campos, David Suzuki's Grandson, Delivers Passionate Speech After Arrest (VIDEO)

► David Suzuki's Grandson Delivers Passionate Speech After Arrest

Whether or not you agree with his stance on a proposed pipeline, you have to admit that David Suzuki's grandson is a powerful speaker.

After he was arrested Thursday for protesting the expansion of Kinder Morgan's Trans Mountain pipeline on Burnaby Mountain, Tamo Campos expressed his outrage that the environment is taking a back seat to business interests.

"Why are we putting our economic system, the market, over the very ecology that we depend upon?" Campos, 24, told a crowd of protesters and media.

Others in the crowd seemed to share his feelings. Fellow protesters cheered him throughout his short speech. You can watch it in the clip above.
