If you've seen Toronto FC play in person, you know that cheering for this team is a pleasure on a hot day, and a pain when there's rain and snow.
But that won't be the case for most spectators when the team completes a massive expansion of BMO Field, which will add 8,400 seats and a canopy covering almost all of them by May 1, 2016.
The club released a computer model showing what the new stadium will look like on YouTube Monday.
BMO Field's $105-million expansion is unfolding in two phases. The first will see the the new seats added, along with a new scoreboard, concourse and two new private clubs.
The second phase will see the canopy added, providing cover for every seat except the North Grandstand.
It's a mighty pretty-looking pitch. But the question is: will it help TFC finally reach the playoffs?
