Arrest made in attempted Queen Street apartment break-in

Toronto police have made an arrest in connection with an attempted break-in at an apartment on Queen Street West.

At about 3 a.m. on Friday, police say a man broke into a building at 472 Queen St. W., near Augusta Avenue.

Police allege that the man forced his way into an apartment on the second floor, where he was confronted.

The suspect fled the scene.

Images of the suspect were caught on video and released by police.

Det.-Const. Rick Garrett told CBC News that a suspect is in custody.
