Grey Cup: Stampeders take early lead over Tiger-Cats

The Calgary Stampeders have a 14-0 lead over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the second quarter of the 102nd Grey Cup in Vancouver, thanks to two rushing touchdowns from Drew Tate.

Calgary drew first blood near the 10-minute mark of the first, scoring the Grey Cup's opening touchdown on a one-yard run from Tate.

The Stamps' backup quarterback scored again on another one-yard run just one minute into the second.

Hamilton has yet to get its offence going. The Ticats' biggest play so far was a near-disaster, fumbling deep in their territory and nearly giving up a defensive touchdown in the first quarter.

The game continues.
