Could they be the new George and Amal?
Benedict Cumberbatch and his fiancée Sophie Hunter stepped out at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards on Sunday, Nov. 30, in their red carpet finest.
Although the "Sherlock" star looked handsome as usual in a classic black-and-white suit, it was 36-year-old Sophie who stood out in a glamourous rose-print Erdem gown.
Inside the venue, the brunette beauty showed off her stunning engagement ring, which we're sure will lead to a lot of copy-cat rings come engagement season.
The gorgeous couple, who announced their engagement in a classified ad in The Times in early November, have started to attend events together since the announcement and it seems as if Sophie has been stepping up her style game.
For their first red carpet appearance together, the theatre director wore a gorgeous floral sheer dress at the New York City premiere of "The Imitation Game," proving that she can roll with the fashion crowd.
Let's hope that Benedict gets nominated for an Oscar so we can see the twosome strut their stuff down the Academy Award red carpet!
