Sexposer, app for confidential HIV info, rolls out on World AIDS Day

Sexposer is a Quebec-made mobile application that answers important questions most people would be embarrassed to ask.

"An application to conjugate sexuality and health," says Sexposer's tagline — a play on s’exposer, a French verb meaning "to expose oneself."

The educational component of the app allows users to find STI and HIV testing sites and offers advice on reducing risk in sexual relations.

People can also use the app to ask questions by text or telephone.

The app was developed by Quebec's HIV/AIDS Portal and AIDS Community Care Montreal.

It was initially launched in 2013 French and for iPhone only.
