Wu-Tang Clan Drop Protest Anthem 'A Better Tomorrow' (VIDEO)

Wu-Tang Clan Get Political In Protest-Inspired New Video

The ongoing protests over the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown just got an anthem courtesy of the Wu-Tang Clan.

Though the 70s soul vibe is mellow, the political lyrics have bite. "We want justice, police are supposed to protect and serve / And then they shoot us down like wild animals, the nerve / Of them cold-hearted killers with blue suits / Slaying our black youth," raps Raekwon,

"For all my people that's out there persevering through the storm," adds Cappadona, "Black fist, Staten Island, stand up, stand strong."

The video, which the Wu-Tang Clan created "in the hopes of inspiring change and promoting unity throughout the world" combines recent news clips of the massive demonstrations in New York and Ferguson with funeral footage, Obama pressers and historic video of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X.

As their Beatles-baiting chorus goes, "the world won't get no better, if we just let it be."
