2014's Biggest Songs And Albums On iTunes Canada

These Were Canada's Most Downloaded Songs, Albums In 2014

According to iTunes Canada, 2013 had a great year in 2014.

Yes, Taylor Swift came out of the gate late and still claimed the top spot on the album chart, the number seven spot on the song chart and the iTunes Canada designation of Artist of the Year. (Sam Smith claimed Best New Artist.)

But the second biggest-selling album on iTunes was the "Frozen" soundtrack, which came out in Dec. 2013 and the biggest-selling song was Pharrell's "Happy" which first came out on the "Despicable Me 2" soundtrack way back in June 2013.

Over in the U.S., "Frozen" was the biggest album, with Taylor Swift coming in at number two, and "Happy" was the top-selling song.
