Baby boy inside car stolen in Mississauga found safe

A baby boy who was inside a car stolen in Mississauga, Ont., this morning has been located and is safe, Peel Regional Police said. 

The 9-moth-old boy was found inside the 2014 Honda CRV, which had been abandoned, not far from where it was stolen, police said. 

The vehicle was taken from a gas station at the intersection of Rexwood and Derry roads shortly after 9 a.m. ET while the baby's mother was inside paying for gas.

Police are still searching for a suspect and have not provided a description.
