Fairview Birks robbery suspects' photos released by police

Montreal police on the West Island have released security camera images of the four men suspected of robbing the Birks jewelry store at Fairview Pointe-Claire.

On the evening of Nov. 12, four masked men entered the store and smashed the jewelry cases using hammers, grabbed merchandise and then pepper-sprayed people in the store before fleeing on foot.

They then fled, getting into a black Nissan and speeding away.

Police describe the suspects as four black men in their 20s. Three of the men were wearing light-coloured hoodies, black gloves and black pants. The fourth man was wearing a hooded black coat and black pants, and had a red bag.
