Miss South Africa Rolene Strauss may have been crowned Miss World 2014, but Aishwarya Rai was the real star of the exclusive event.
On Sunday, the former Miss World was honoured with the Most Successful Miss World award at the London ceremony for her charity work and her commitment to "beauty with a purpose" since winning the crown two decades ago.
The 41-year-old Bollywood actress appeared on stage with her husband Abhishek Bachchan, their daughter Aaradhya and her mother Vrinda Rai.
Ash, who was crowned Miss World in 1994, looked gorgeous wearing a silver sequin fishtail gown that hugged her curves, while her hubby looked handsome in a classic black suit. Even daughter Aaradhya was dressed to the nines in a cute pink coat, tights and white flats.
The Cannes Film Festival regular has come a long way since she won the Miss World crown when she was just 21 years old.
Not only has she starred in hit films such as "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" and "Taal," but she's also been dubbed the Most Beautiful Woman in the World. Aishwarya regularly supports charities such as Smile Train, a cleft lip and palate charity; PETA India and runs the Aishwarya Rai Foundation.
