Jenna the Husky found by owner Pierre Marceau after 125 km journey

Jenna, a two-year-old Siberian Husky, is now home after a six-month journey that led from the Eastern Townships to the north shore of Montreal.

Jenna’s owner, Pierre Marceau, lives in Shefford, Que. He’s been searching for Jenna since she ran away, on May 14.

He searched extensively for her and posted ads on online sites like Kijiji, looking for her.

Now, six months later, they’ve been reunited.

Marceau said he received a text message from someone in Repentigny, Que., 125 kilometres away from the dog’s home in Shefford, Que.

Marceau said he has no idea how the dog got there. To do so, she’d have to cross a bridge, go through a tunnel, or swim to get across the St. Lawrence River to where she was found.

Marceau told CBC News he's had a tough year. His house burned down and he's had health issues. He said having Jenna home is a great ending to the year.
