Toronto man charged in alleged 'road rage' incident on 401

A Toronto man is facing multiple charges after an alleged road rage incident on Highway 401 yesterday.

The Ontario Provincial Police say they were told about an alleged altercation involving two drivers in the westbound lanes of the highway on Sunday afternoon, near Renforth Drive.

Police say there was a collision that damaged both vehicles.

A 28-year-old man now faces a charge of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of assault and a single count of uttering threats.

The accused is due to appear in a Toronto court next month.
