4th arrest made in Toronto sex-trade worker robberies

Toronto police have made another arrest in connection with a series of robberies targeting sex-trade workers.

The robberies under investigation occurred at west-end hotels where escorts were robbed and assaulted.

Last week, police announced making three arrests, but investigators were still seeking three other suspects.

Police found one of those suspects on Monday.

A 21-year-old Toronto man faces eight counts of robbery, three counts of using a disguise with intent, six counts of forcible confinement, as well as single counts of kidnapping, gang sexual assault and assault with a weapon. He also faces six counts of failing to comply with recognizance.

A male and a female suspect are still being sought, police say.
