Air Canada flight from London to Toronto diverted due to 'unruly passenger'

An Air Canada flight from London's Heathrow Airport that was headed to Toronto's Pearson airport was diverted to Halifax due to an "unruly passenger."

The flight AC869 made a sharp turn toward Halifax as it was flying north of Prince Edward Island.

Air Canada stated the plane would only make a short stop at Halifax Stanfield International Airport, and confirmed it was due to what it is calling an "unruly passenger."

More to come.
