Amber Alert issued after 3 Edmonton boys taken

Edmonton police have issued an Amber Alert after three young boys were reportedly abducted from a north Edmonton home Friday morning.

Police say the boys, aged two, eight and nine, were taken by 50-year-old Leonard Hutchinson around 9:45 a.m.

Hutchinson is described as a 6'1" tall, bald, white man and weighs about 300 lbs. He was last seen wearing a grey shirt, grey pants, suspenders and glasses.

Description of children:

- Jeremy Hutchinson: two years old, Caucasian, curly blond hair, 3'6" tall

- Andrew Hutchinson: eight year old, Caucasian, short dark messy hair, 4'2" tall

- Damien Hutchinson: nine years old, Caucasian, short light brown hair, 4'2" tall

The boys were last seen in a 2002 red Kia Sedona with licence plate BPB 6141, likely heading west from Edmonton.

Hutchinson may be in the company of an aboriginal woman with long dark hair, police say.

Police are asking anyone who spots the vehicle or individuals described to call EPS or the RCMP immediately. They say the suspects should not be approached.
