2 luxury vehicles damaged in arson outside Scarborough home

A pair of luxury vehicles were set on fire outside a Scarborough home where a party was being held, police say.

Emergency responders were called to a property near Kingston Road and Markham Road at 10:15 p.m. on Monday.

Toronto Fire Capt. David Eckerman said there were five vehicles parked in the driveway when someone spotted flames.

"They were able to drive three of them off of the driveway to safety from the flames," he said.

The homeowner did not want to speak with CBC News on camera. But she said that no one was hurt in the incident.
