Joe Riquelme Pays Off His Parents' Mortgage For Christmas

Son's Life-Changing Christmas Gift To His Parents Will Melt Your Heart

Christmas is not a competition, but if it was, this son would take all the prizes.

App developer Joe Riquelme surprised his parents by paying off their mortgage for Christmas.

Riquelme, who created the app Videoshop, posted a video on YouTube Friday of his parents receiving what is probably the greatest present money can buy.

In the video, he quietly hands his mom a note that says "Your house is paid off, Merry Xmas — Joe", according to CBC News. As one can imagine, his parents are overcome with emotion.

The surprise not only melted his parents' hearts, it had the Internet wishing Riquelme was their son. The video already has more than two million views since it was posted less than two days ago.
