Rob Ford begins radiation treatment

Rob Ford is starting the next phase of his cancer treatment on Monday.

The former Toronto mayor will be undergoing 27 days of radiation to attack a tumour in his abdomen.

He was diagnosed with a rare abdominal cancer in mid-September and dropped his bid to be re-elected mayor but did win a seat on council in October.

Last month, Ford revealed that the tumour had shrunk by about half following chemotherapy.
