Whistler hotel death investigated by IHIT

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been called to Whistler, B.C. after a death in a hotel.

Police have said little about what happened, except that the death was "as a result of an altercation" in the unnamed hotel.

Whistler RCMP were called to the hotel at 3 a.m. PT Tuesday, according to an IHIT press release.

"This was not a targeted attack however there is no risk to the public in relation to this incident," said the release.
