'Simpsons' Infographic Captures Its Voice Talents' Greatness

Any diehard "Simpsons" fan knows just how many characters a single actor voices on the show. But it's still pretty astonishing to see it visualized in a graphic.

Amsterdam- and Tel Aviv-based data visualizer Jishai Evers has put together an image that illustrates just how many of Springfield's residents are voiced by individual actors.

Dan Castellaneta appears to take the lion's share: he's credited with voicing 26 characters including Homer, Sideshow Mel and Mr. Teeny, Krusty the Klown's smoking monkey.

Hank Azaria also takes on an enormous workload. His characters mentioned in the graphic include Apu, Moe, Comic Book Guy and Cletus, the Slack-Jawed Yokel.

Of course, this graphic doesn't quite capture all the characters that actors have played on the show, leaving out one-off voiceovers, according to Vox. So Castellaneta's Anton Lubchenko doesn't make the cut, nor does Karl Wiedergott's Bill Clinton.

This isn't the only time that Evers has designed an impressive graphic showing us just how talented voice actors can be. He has also posted an image showing that four actors play over 80 characters on "South Park."

Voice actors are often underrated. So it's nice to see their talents recognized in this fashion.
