Cattle die after livestock transport truck crashes in central Alberta

CASTOR, Alta. - Icy roads and fog are being blamed for the crash of a cattle transport truck in central Alberta.

RCMP say the truck rolled on Highway 36 Wednesday just south of Castor.

The driver suffered minor injuries.

Police say many of the cattle either died in the crash or were injured and had to be euthanized.
