Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch finally speaks

A man of few words, Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch broke his silence Thursday during his last mandatory media appearance before the Superbowl.

In a press conference that lasted five minutes, Lynch responded to the first question by reiterating that he won't be answering any questions.

“Hey, look, I mean all week, I done told y’all what’s up, and for some reason y’all continue to come back and do the same thing that y’all did," said Lynch.

Lynch continued his statement, making it clear he was there only to fulfill his media requirements as his focus is centred on preparing for the Superbowl.

"I'm here preparing for a game and y'all want to ask me all these questions, which is understandable, I can get down with that, but I told y'all, I'm not 'bout to say nothing," said Lynch. "So for the remainder of my three minutes, because I'm here, I'm available for y'all...I done talked, all of my requirements are fulfilled, so now for these next three minutes I'll just be looking at y'all."

Lynch listened to questions but didn't just look back at reporters, instead responding with some shoutouts to various people and places.

"Shoutout Oakland, California. Shoutout Westbrook. Shoutout my teammates. Shoutout to my real Africans out there," Lynch said.

When asked where people can buy his merchandise, he plugged his Beast Mode clothing line website before an alarm went off on his phone, indicating his time was up, and he left.
