Henry Farrokh found in library after North Shore Rescue search

North Shore Rescue has called off a huge search after Henry Farrokh, the man they were looking for, called to say he was safe and sound — in the Vancouver Public Library.

An RCMP helicopter had been employed as part of the 14-strong search looking for Farrokh in the North Shore wilderness near his home, after he left for a walk three days ago, and hadn't returned home.

The 44-year-old called his mother this morning saying he was fine. His mother told North Shore Rescue she planned to collect him from the library immediately.

It is not clear where Farrokh has been since Tuesday.
