Canada's Alex Gough wins silver in World Cup luge

Canadian Alex Gough took second place at a World Cup luge event in Lillehammer, Norway on Saturday.

The 27-year-old from Calgary completed the race with a time of 1:35.732.

Tatiana Ivanova of Russia won gold by completing the track in 1:35.306. Germany's Dajana Eitberger was third with a time of 1:35.753.

Canadians Kimberley McRae and Arianne Jones finished eighth and 10th respectively.

In men's doubles, Tristan Walker and Justin Snith of Canada finished in 7th.
