Dozens of people were evacuated from an eastbound Scarborough RT train this morning after a mechanical issue forced the shut down of the entire line.
Shuttle buses are currently operating between McKowan and Kennedy stations and there is no word on when the issues may be resolved.
The passengers aboard one eastbound train were evacuated with the help of police, who walked them down the tracks to Midland station. The TTC said those passengers were put on buses to be transported elsewhere.
Trains are also bypassing Bathurst and St. Patrick stations both ways due to flooding. Shuttle buses have been routed to help affected passengers, the TTC said.
