Established and emerging designers to unveil new lines at Toronto's Fashion Week

TORONTO - Organizers of Toronto's World MasterCard Fashion Week have unveiled the list of designers heading to the runway with fall-winter collections next month.

A trio of leading womenswear labels will kick off festivities on opening night with Mikhael Kale, Pink Tartan and Mercedes-Benz Start Up winner Sid Neigum showcasing their latest looks.

Famed Montreal-based labels Rudsak, Melissa Nepton, Mackage and Soia & Kyo will return to the runway. Eveningwear specialists Narces, Stephan Caras and Mikael D will debut their newest lines, as will denim brand Triarchy and womenswear brands Hilary MacMillan and VAWK.

Newcomers to the Fashion Week stage include homegrown outerwear brand the Wild North, Montreal-based Atelier Wonder, activewear brand Lole, Toronto's Parloque and Ottawa-based label Kania.

Longtime designer Farley Chatto returned to the Toronto runway last March after a six-year hiatus and will be back again next month showcasing his newest line.

The semi-annual style event will be marking a major milestone as acclaimed womenswear designer David Dixon celebrates his 20th anniversary.

Fashion Week runs March 23-27 at David Pecaut Square in Toronto.
