Alex Harvey picks up 2nd silver medal at x-country ski worlds

There’s no stopping Alex Harvey.

The Canadian cross-country skier followed up Thursday’s silver medal in the men’s sprint at the Nordic ski world championships with another second-place finish in Saturday’s 30-kilometre skiathlon.

Harvey, 27, is a big fan of the track in Falun, Sweden, where he’s also won five World Cup medals.

Saturday’s performance was the fourth silver of the season for Harvey, a native of St-Ferreol-les-Neiges, Que.

A week ago, he left Ostersund, Sweden on a high note after claiming silver at a World Cup event.
