WATCH: Sinkhole Swallows Pedestrians In South Korea

Is this real life?

A man and a woman in Seoul, South Korea were just minding their own business walking down the street on Friday when a sinkhole on the sidewalk swallowed them whole, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The two had just stepped off a bus when the pavement they were walking on collapsed, as captured by bus CCTV footage. The pair fell 10 feet, the Guardian reported, but only suffered minor injuries. They were rescued by firefighters and taken to hospital.

The hole was near a construction site for a 39-storey apartment building, according to Sky News. Seoul's government is investigating, as well as the Korean Geotechnical Society. An official from the society told the network that water was coming out of the wall next to the pavement, but that they hadn't determined whether or not that was the cause.
